BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The minutes of the February 15th BoD meeting were reviewed and approved 3/3

 

More than 8 homeowners were present to volunteer these Good and Welfare discussion topics:

Þ       Re-evaluation of a tree trimming violation was requested

Þ       Code enforcement was selective relating to tree trimming and landscaping

Þ       A particular security guard was rude

Þ       Security is not making the late drive-throughs

Þ       Speeding at 35-40mph is a danger to everyone

Þ       Dogs are loose and chasing children

Þ       Security along the east easement

Þ       No trespassing signs along the east easement

Þ       The gate to the easement is often down

Þ       Adding the Coral Springs Anti-Burglary checklist to the website was suggested

Þ       The two or three incidents in HHE have been to cars with things in full view

Þ       Tape record the meetings

Þ       Getting an arborist from a neighboring communities

Legal issues were discussed

Þ       Certified letters were sent to all with delinquent fees

Þ       Two HO’s to legal

Þ       One HO is in foreclosure


 

Property management report discussions included:

Þ       The delinquency report.

Þ       The property inspection report – one extension was requested by the HO

Þ       Four trespassing signs will be installed by the end of the week in the east FPL easement => one in the middle of each lake

Þ       More bids will be pursued for bushes to form a physical barrier along the east FPL

Þ       For the pavers, bids are needed

Þ       The HO with the parking violation paid the fine

 

Old Business

Þ       For speeders, a complaint should be sent to Benchmark in writing with as many specifics as possible

Þ       For unresolved landscaping violations, delinquent HO’s will be assessed the cost of landscape design – approved 5/5

Þ       The hedge along the SW corner of Chardonnay will be cleaned up and trimmed.

Þ       For the Hurricane Preparedness plan, June 1st is the goal. Trees need to be surveyed for trimming before the next hurricane

A HO was barred from attending the BoD meetings for 90 days for causing a disturbance

 

The meeting was adjourned. The next BoD meeting will be April 19th at 6:30
